The Role. As the Director of Facilities you will provide the communities with a high level of expertise and support in the areas of operational maintenance, capital improvement planning, expense control and physical risk mitigation.
The Key Responsibilities.
Develop and oversee the Operations and Maintenance Manual (OMM) for the assigned portfolio of communities
Develop, oversee and implement the Capital Improvement Plans (CIP) and strategies for the assigned portfolio of communities
Develop, oversee and implement Regional Pricing Initiatives (RPI) and maintenance related expense analysis for the assigned portfolio of communities
Perform physical property and initial capital cost assessments during due diligence (DD) and community acquisition
Critically evaluate maintenance related costs and expenses.
Implement best practices among vendors, contractors and suppliers
Define standards of work and performance and ensure they are enacted
Drive forward Alliance initiative and programs to include but not limited to sustainability.
Provide superior pricing in all work, goods and services.

Five years of regional maintenance supervisory or project management experience in a real estate or property management environment
